Naugus' arrival turns heads. It's been quite some time since most of them have seen the man, but their stares are mostly of pleasant surprise and less so gawping at the man. Some even go so far as to wave!
Kenny immediately launches into action. Like a crazed beast she leaps from her seat and hurries over to fill a plate and bowl with food for Ixis Naugus. Mrs. Weatherhill laughs as her granddaughter's little arms fly. Before she gathers it all up she stealthily removes a folded piece of paper from the pocket of her overalls, which she slips under the plate of her offering. She jogs over to Naugus to deliver it silently. How he's going to carry two chao and a plate of food remains a mystery, but one she's confident he's going to solve.
Mr. Weatherhill gives Naugus a respectful nod of acknowledgement before he turns to Isidor and assures her, "Lawrence will be here. And on his best behavior, I hope..." Despite being the father of the family he doesn't seem too confident in his ability to keep his son in check.
