Viatorus is quick to thank Anna when she relieves him of gift carrying duty. They're reasonably large boxes and his arms are not used to carrying, well, anything. This relief is quickly replaced by surprise at the sudden appearance of this older woman. She looks and sounds so friendly, taking his hands into hers in a warm, foreign gesture of welcome. He's so busy blushing that he forgets to say anything before she's turned her focus to Isidor.
The elder Durant is a little more ready for the familiar greeting. More practiced at receiving and giving welcomes, she smiles warmly in return and allows Mrs. Weatherhill to get a good look at them. Hardtman's greeting is one she's far more used to and his handshake is returned with a firm one of her own.
"While we're here we are more than happy to respect your customs." Here she mirrors his grin. "Hugging included." She looks between them. "It's an honour to meet you both. Harrowheart has always spoken so fondly of his family and he's been a good friend to both of us."
Viatorus nods and smiles in agreement. Isidor has always been better at the introductions and it's become habit to let her take charge of them.
