"You're engaged?! Lawrence asks it so fast he nearly chokes on the words. That little fact is surprising for so many reasons. He leans back and eyes Viatorus in disbelief, accepts it as a fact no matter how improbable, and turns away with a scowl.

"I can't believe my rat bastard of a brother would go after an engaged man... He knows how I feel about that! I don't care if he's got the strength of a horny orc, I'm gonna whoop his ass next time I see him."

His monologue of vengeance over he returns his attention to Viatorus. Now both of his hands are on his his shoulders and he squares him up to keep looking him in the face.

"So he knows you're engaged and he's still crazy bout you? That makes this way harder. Do you think if you started to show your fiancée a ton of affection he might get the hint? Or would he, I don't know, go wild with jealousy and axe-murder her? I feel like you know him better than me when it comes to that stuff."
