Tamminy covers her mouth when Adia denies Caspar's touch, while Lawrence stares in open surprise. As soon as she flees he scrubs his hand down his face, and when it falls turns his guilty expression to Caspar.

"Shit," he wheezes, "I didn't know..."

How could he have known? People don't share their traumas publicly. And as much as he normally doesn't mind being an ass -- frankly he enjoys it from time to time -- this isn't one of those cases. Twisting a knife in a woman's psychological wounds doesn't bring him anything but shame.

Tamminy looks between the men and quietly says, "Maybe she shouldn't hear the rest? Why don't we give her a minute alone with the pokemon. We can tell Caspar everything that happened, and he can decide what Adia should and shouldn't know."

Lawrence nods before he glances after Adia and the pigs that worriedly follow her. Light. He didn't expect any of that...
